Basketball Ministry

Ministry Leader - Elder Mike Wingard 

The basketball ministry is for both male and female youth and young adults.  We actively participate in basketball leagues and tournaments around the area and even outside of DC.  The ages start from 8 to 17.  We have participated in tournaments in Baltimore, MD as well as leagues in the DC area.  

We have sponsored 3 on 3 tournaments on our church parking lot which we hold each summer.  We also have in house tournaments when the Temple youth sponsor such events such as back to school events, summer fun on the parking lot, 4th of July events, and birthday events.  

This year we are looking to sponsor a church-wide youth tournament with a 3 on 3 tournament with NBA players coming to speak to our young people.
