The Scholarship ministry is designed to assist persons interested in pursuing post-secondary education and other educational training programs.  The Scholarship Ministry provides monetary scholarships, based on the availability of funds,  to 1st time students and continuing education students who are active members of The Temple of Praise for at least 6 months. 

Educational Support Services are offered in the form of:

• Counseling
• Financial Aid counseling and Assistance
• College Fairs
• Campus Visitations
• Resources

Race for Education is our primary fundraising event and is held in the spring. 

Scholarship applications are available during ministry meeting two times per year.

Destiny Project

The Destiny Project is the Out of School Program Component of The Temple of Praise.  It operates the aftercare program between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday.  Camp Destiny is the summer component that offers academic enrichment, music, drama, art, multimedia, field trips, teambuilding, sports and recreation.  Summer camp begins the last week in June and operates for 7 weeks.  Camp Destiny is open from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm with aftercare being provided until 6:00 pm.
